Protecting Sharks Cove: A Reef Restoration Effort
To help Sharks Cove’s reef recover, commercial dive tours are no longer permitted in this protected area. Increased activity has stressed the marine ecosystem, and this pause allows coral and marine life to thrive again.
Please help by following reef-friendly practices:
- Look, Don’t Touch – Corals are fragile living organisms.
- Use Reef-Safe Sunscreen – Avoid chemicals that harm marine life.
- Minimize Disruptions – No standing, kicking up sand, or chasing fish.
Mahalo for helping protect this special place for future generations!
